The Republic Commando Costume Helmet

This was my first try at making a full helmet. I sculpted it in sculpey, casted it in plastic, sanded it smooth, and casted it in plastic again.

In progress: I would like the visor to light up in blue a little more, but I do not want to blind the wearer either. I am still working on the body armor, backpack, and blaster.

Features:
• Made in strong impact resistant polyurethane plastic (similar to a football helmet)
• Average thickness: about 1/4"
• Approx. total weight: Under 2.5 pounds
• Hand painted acrylic and enamel
• Protective enamel coating
• 3 superbright LED's (two blues over visor, one very bright white spotlight)
• Wire twist tie for holding 9V battery

• Extremely rare fan-made original
• High accuracy and detail

You can find the helmet dimensions here.
